Spiritual Conference – 12 June, 2023

Pope Francis has given top priority to the creation of a Pontifical Service, with an emphasis on its youth branch, encouraging everyone to take part in this mission of God. Accordingly, the seminary arranged a spiritual conference on June 12, 2023, with the theme “Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network (PWPN) and Eucharistic Youth Movement (EYM),” which was animated by Fr. Jagadish Parmar SJ, the director of PWPN and EYM. He shared many of his personal experiences and lessons learned, highlighting the history of this movement. He also stated that the purpose of God calling all of us is to become His collaborators in the work of redemption, and he quoted many scripture references to reinforce his point. He also spoke about the importance of the Eucharist, prayer, the Word of God, and other aspects. He mentioned that the three main spiritual pillars of EYM are Gospel, Eucharist, and Mission. Finally, he concluded that we can also join this Pontifical Service, spread it far and wide throughout the world, and inspire many generations to live their Catholic faith as missionaries by praying for the intentions of the Pope.
