Prayer Service For Candidates For Diaconate Ordination- 05th August 2023.

It was a day of grace yesterday. Eleven of our fourth-year theologians took the oaths to serve the community as deacons and signed the necessary documents in front of our rector, Fr. Aniceto Pereira. The third-year theologians conducted a special prayer meeting in the evening for the to-be deacons. The intercessory prayers were made for the brothers, seeking God’s grace to guide them in their clergy life and their ministry life thereafter. Fr. Aniceto addressed the brothers to be ordained deacons, emphasizing the significance of the vows that they make to the church and the need to keep them for the rest of their lives as they get closer to the altar. St. Pius X community prays that all the candidates for the diaconate be filled with the love of God to become shepherds of God’s own heart.
