Football Match between Old Seminarians and New comers (26 June 2024)

The fresh air of camaraderie and friendly competition filled the grounds of St. Pius X College, Goregaon, as the newcomer Brothers faced off against their in-house counterparts in a football match held on 26th July 2024. The Newcomer Brothers surprised everyone by scoring the first goal, but the In-House Brothers quickly regrouped and demonstrated their skills, ultimately winning the match 7-2.

While the scoreboard may have reflected a clear winner, the true victory of the day lay in the spirit of the game. The match served as a fantastic platform for the newcomers to not only showcase their athletic prowess but also to begin forging connections with their fellow brothers and the wider seminary community. The supportive presence of brothers and fathers who came out in large numbers to cheer on the participants added another layer of warmth to the occasion. The friendly atmosphere undoubtedly eased the newcomers' transition into the seminary environment, allowing them to feel a sense of belonging and camaraderie.
