Community Picnic 2022

Picnic is a time of fellowship and excitement as it unites a group and generates a euphoria which cannot be described by words. After two long years of covid hiatus the St Pius community were euphoric and excited to enjoy a fun filled and thrilling picnic at Bosco Wadi resort on 1st March, 2022.

Bosco Wadi is a sea-faced resort run by the Salesians and it is known for its scenic beauty and also the hospitable spirit of the Salesians. We reached the resort at 9 am and then after breakfast we participated in the telegames organised by the sports department. The telegames were a time of fun and entertainment. However all the four teams competed with a healthy spirit. After the telegames all of us had a good swim in the Sea. Some of us also played water games in the swimming pool. Post swim we enjoyed a sumptuous lunch which was followed by a time of recreation. The Picnic came to an end with a prize distribution ceremony wherein all the teams were rewarded and this was followed by a Thanksgiving Prayer Service. Thus this day will always be etched in our hearts as it really provided us with the stress buster that we need after a two year long covid lockdown. Kudos to the Staff and the Students who made this day possible and also successful.
