Every year, the St. Pius X community makes their walking pilgrimage to Mt. Mary’s Church in Bandra, seeking the blessing and intercession of Mother Mary. This year, too, the community undertook the annual pilgrimage in honor of Mother Mary with great devotion and love. Brothers were given the option either to begin their journey from the seminary or from Khar station. At 3 in the morning, there was a small prayer service conducted at the third-floor chapel, after which the brothers began their pilgrimage to Bandra from the seminary campus. Brothers recited the rosary and maintained an atmosphere of prayer all throughout their journey under the guidance of their respective group leaders. There was a short break at Sacred Heart Church in Santa Cruz for tea and snacks. The rest of the brothers met at Khar station at 5:30 a.m. and began their journey to Bandra. Fr Aniceto Pereira celebrated the Holy Eucharist at 7:30 a.m. for the community and faithful gathered at Bandra. The community clicked a group picture after the Holy Eucharist. The community was delighted to once again make their annual pilgrimage to the loving presence of Mother Mary at Bandra.
