Annual Sports Day – 13th March, 2023

On Monday, 13th March 2023, St Pius X family witnessed the Annual Sports Day event which was held on the lawns from 4.15 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. The brothers enjoyed all the events of the program, as they were preparing for this event from the beginning of the academic year by participating in various games and events. The event began with a march-past which started at the porch moving towards the oval lawn. Fr Julian Saldanha was the chief guest for the day’s event. The brothers assembled in their own respective groups. The Sports department members organized Tele games for all the groups who participated whole-heartedly in various games. Fr Julian addressed the community reminiscing about his younger days of him being in the novitiate and the earlier days in the Seminary. He encouraged the brothers to actively participate in various sports events and to make the best use of the facilities provided to them. The event ended with prize distribution for all the winners. We thank Fr Anthony Fernandes and the Sports Department for making this event a success.
