75th Republic Day: WE THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, 26th January, 2024

On the occasion of the 75th Republic Day, we marked the milestone with a meaningful Eucharist celebration conducted in Hindi. Fr. Gavin Lopes celebrated the Eucharist, urging us, in his homily, to embody the values of the Constitution and inspire the youth to contribute their time and energy to our nation's service. After the Eucharist, the national flag was hoisted by Sr Evelyn Menezes, Superior of Premankur, our esteemed guest for the day. Fr. Aniceto Pereira addressed the community emphasizing the significance of the day. The program was compered by Br Tejas and Br Rejith delivered a powerful message: "Freedom entails not just liberty but also upholding dignity, equality, and justice for all citizens. Let's face these challenges unitedly and strive to build an India where every individual can realize their dreams. Together, let's pledge to strengthen our republic, work diligently for the nation's progress, and forge a great India." The community celebration concluded with  prayers for our country and its citizens, reinforcing our commitment as responsible citizens under the banner "WE THE PEOPLE OF INDIA."
