Three Priests Ordained for Archdiocese of Bombay

7th April 2018, was a very glorious day for the St. Pius X community when three of our Deacons namely, Bro. Joel Fernandes, Bro. Savio Lobo and Bro. Joseph Valliampoikayil were ordained priests at the hands of Cardinal Oswald Gracias, the Archbishop of Bombay. The ordination service was a very touching ceremony held on the grounds of St. Pius X College.

In his homily His Eminence exhorted the newly ordained priests to always visit their parishioners, be available to them and be kind to them like Jesus, the Good Shepherd. The ceremony was very Spirit-filled and a great experience for one and all. This was made possible because a clear LED screens on which the ceremony was displayed for the faithful gathered in large numbers. The choir provided very prayerful singing and the assembly had a really uplifting experience.
